Elementary School
I was in primary school, second grade, when the teacher started teaching us the multiplication.
She used some coloured cards with the multiplication exercise on one side and the results on the other sides. She grouped us in groups of two to practice the multiplication exercises using the cards, then she used the cards with the entire class, giving stars to all correct and rapid answers.
It was fun and easy to remember!
I used the same game with my son, when he started to learn the multiplication in school.
High School
I applied and was admitted to foreign languages high school, where the focus was to learn literature and grammar of Romanian, Latin, French and English.
I was impressed by the Latin teacher and I fell in love with Latin due to her way to explain us the role of Latin in contemporary times. Latin is a language of use in every day activities, but when you learn Latin, you learn more than a language: you learn about philosophy, logic and mythology.
University
One of the classes I attended was European Integration.
The professor lectured the course in a formal way, not interactive at all.
But for the final exam we needed to present a project. I have applied and been accepted to join a working group of integration withing the governmental institution and I had the chance to see how the decisions are taken at high level, how to create the programs to achieve the steps to integrate the country. It was a great experience and what I learned during this time, remain in my memory for long time.
Professional and Career
As one of my strengths is Learner, I have the need to continue learning all the time. When I launched my business, the marketing budget was very limited, so I had to learn how to market it in digital way when digital platforms were just starting to have an impact.
After years, I had the opportunity and financial support to attend a Master in Digital Marketing and I could improve my experience in what digital marketing means. It was good to see that I have already known part of the materials thought during this course.
